Floral Study 1/7
For this collection, artist Allison Meyler found inspiration thousands of miles away during a linocut workshop in Italy with celebrated printmaker Ana Inciardi. What started as a creative adventure studying the art of printmaking quickly became something far more personal.
After returning home, Allison began working from the very dahlias she grows herself — blooms planted, nurtured, and photographed in her own garden. In the linocut process, the original image is transferred directly onto the carved linoleum block, meaning the flowers you see in these prints and paintings are truly her own from seed to studio.
There’s something incredibly special about artwork that carries a story this layered…grown by hand, inspired abroad, and transformed into timeless florals filled with texture, movement, and soul.
