Lori Daniel Rowland

Lori is a Richmond artist who began her journey into the creative world following graduation from JMU in 1985. Initially she worked as a visual merchandiser in multiple department stores and later setting up boutiques within larger department store chains. She then segued into hand panted furniture until 3 children in 2 years lead her to pause her creative endeavors! 2003 saw a new hobby creating jewelry evolve into a highly successful jewelry business for over 15 years. In 2016 she began to incorporate bright colorful acrylic works on canvas and paper to her jewelry offerings. Focusing on texture and color, painting became an enormous source of joy. Each canvas begins with an experiment and eventually evolves into a work of art!
