Caroline HowardCaroline Howard is a self-taught watercolor artist living in the outskirts o Raleigh, NC. She's been a long time admirer of watercolor. Then, about two years ago when here free time was at an all-time low, she decided to try painting for herself and found that watercolor was a harmonious fit for her life as a stay-at-home mother of three little children. Now she paints in the spare moments of day-to-day life, every chance she gets. She draws subject matter from her surroundings, using either references from photos from morning walks or painting plein air while her kids play beside her. She quickly paints the essence of the subject with a clear intention, a limited palette, while using a lot of wet-on-wet technique. like a good story, you don't have to have all the details to understand the meaning.
