Allison ClementsAllison's work explores the conversation between colors and the rhythm they create on canvas. Celebrating both life's beauty and its imperfections. Her brushstrokes and color choices are expressions of her ongoing journey of healing, growing and rediscovery. Allison holds a BFA in painting from Ohio University and master's degree in art education from the university of Toledo. She has taught painting and drawing at the nationally ranked Toledo School for the Arts and the Toledo Museum of Art. For many years, Allison found fulfillment in guiding her students on their creative journeys. After becoming a mother to three children in four years, she paused her art and teaching careers to focus on family and motherhood. In 2020 Allison returned to creating art full-time. Since then, she has exhibited her work across the county and recently held her first solo show. Her work has been featured in various publications and also included in both pubic and private collections. Allison met her husband of 25 years while studying art in Prague, CZ, and together they have three children and two dogs.
