Kate FerrellKate Ferrell is a mixed media artist known for her abstracted floral still life and landscape paintings. Her work has been shown in galleries and juried exhibitions across the Southeast and placed in homes through partnerships with interior designers and art curators.
Inspired by the quiet beauty of mountain vistas and the organic rhythms of a garden in bloom, Kate's work is a celebration of color, shape, texture, and pattern. With a background in clinical social work, she approaches her work as a visual mindfulness practice, providing viewers a place to pause and reflect. Kate graduated from Davidson College in Davidson, NC, where she received formal studio art and art history education. She lives in Nashville, TN with her family. |
